In 1960s, Bulgarian national car brand, came up with this vintage advertisement under the label “Balkan car”. Fiat was the outcome of the cooperation between an Italian automobile firm (Fiat) and SPC Balkankar, a Bulgarian state production cooperative. And this is how the advertisement looked like:
The production of this car lasted for 5 years, between 1966 and 1971. After the contract expired in 1971, it has never been renewed. The last car left the factory in Lovech in September 1971. This was the brief background story of even more short living Bulgarian automotive brand.
