This years Outward awards for the best designed billboards in two categories went to projects that encouraged responsible behavior and child protection.
Judges had to choose among variety of designs and candidates over the time span of two years. Señor agency was the one that stole the show of this competition, since its projects won in half of the categories. Their billboard for Brave Telephone (Hrabri Telefon) was announced number one. This project in particular tried to raise awareness of child abuse and the problem of not reporting it to the authorities. Besides getting all the credits from the judges, this billboard won the majority of votes from the audience. Campaign “Say it out loud” (“Reci to glasno“) which has previously won several advertising awards, took the title of the best media usage.
“Outdoor advertising is a channel which is impossible to avoid, therefore we are trying to use it not as a spam but in a smarter and more creative way. With “Say it out loud” campaign we have shown the power of outdoor advertising and this is why we are thrilled with Outward awards. ” – said Vanja Blumenštajn, head creative director of the agency.
This award is only an addition to Senors list of acknowledgments, they have won second place at IdejiX competition for the agency of the year, best digital campaign award at MIXX, acknowledgment at best Croatian design competition and an award for the best package solution in the region.
